Job description
Social Care Professionals have a number of opportunities for Residential Support Workers who are looking for temporary work.
Residential Support Workers are required to provide practical, social and emotional support to children with emotional and behavioural difficulties, learning difficulties and/or challenging behaviour in residential settings in and around Essex & Suffolk.
Candidates must have a minimum of a year’s experience of supporting this client group. You will need to be an excellent communicator and listener and be caring and patient.
Services may be in rural settings, so candidates need to have a driving license and their own transport.
Flexible work patterns are available with the option to work full time or part time, including mornings, evenings and weekends. We offer excellent rates of pay and a dedicated friendly and professional team of staff.
Mandatory training and NVQ 2 desirable but not essential as Social Care Professionals offer ongoing training opportunities, including both specialist and mandatory courses.
High pay rates up to £14.00 per hour depending on shift type.
