Job description

Social Care Professionals provide support to adults and children with Acquired Brain Injury and we have a number of opportunities for experienced Support Workers who are looking for temporary/ongoing contracted work.

Support Workers must be confident to lone work, be able to maintain written records and care plans. Candidates must be able to provide practical, social and emotional support to clients in community settings in and around Essex & Suffolk.

Candidates must have a minimum of a year’s experience of supporting this client group. You will need to be an excellent communicator and listener and be caring and patient.

Services may be in rural settings, so candidates need to have a driving license and their own transport.

Flexible work patterns are available with the option to work full time or part time, including mornings, evenings and weekends. We offer excellent rates of pay and a dedicated friendly and professional team of staff.

Mandatory training and NVQ 2 desirable but not essential as Social Care Professionals offer ongoing training opportunities, including both specialist and mandatory courses.

High pay rates up to £17.00 per hour depending on shift type.
