Job description

Social Care Professionals are seeking professional and dedicated Support Workers in the Colchester area to support adults with learning difficulties and mental health issues in the provision of care, providing daily support as well as being involved in general activities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for some one interested in progressing or starting a career within health care to join an organisation with an award winning reputation.

You will be responsible for supporting service users with their daily living, mobility, personal care, and assisting with domestic duties, observations and daily reports.

Experience is preferred however it is required that you have:
- Knowledge of Mental Health Issues
- Understanding of Mental Health diagnosis
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Ability to work within a team
- Able to contribute to the planning of care.
- Able to use and work on own initiative.
- Ability to undertake shift patterns
- Ability to negotiate
- Good interpersonal skills
- Able to assist patients with daily living skills.
