Job description

Social Care Professionals are a Recruitment Consultancy and our client is looking for a Social Worker to provide high quality social work service, to assist Independent Co-ordinators in their role and provide supervision as required to Co-ordinators and Practice Guidance to referring Practitioners,to develop methods of communicating directly with children and young people and to assist Independent Co-ordinators in developing skills to promote children and young people’s wishes and feelings in the FGC process, to bring about changes in attitudes towards victims of crime and to help people to work towards and deal with change. This may involve the use of personal and professional skills in counselling and exploring feelings on a basic or more advanced level as required. Ideal candidates will have proven success in a similar role and a Diploma in Social Work, CQSW or equivalent.
Appointment to this position will be subject to an enhanced CRB clearance.
